Mission in Motion

The José Project was a huge success! We were able to provide this family of siblings a safe, comfortable place to live along with many supports along the way. We continue to work with this family to help them learn to live independent, productive lives. Thank you so much for being a part of this wonderful project and God’s work!

Because of such a wide spread community and church support, we, at Trinity, decided to create a video about it. Thank you to our videographer, Andie Guiher! Please check out the video:

Trinity’s Mission in Motion Ministry (MIM) focuses on fulfilling the part our mission statement of “serving God and neighbors”. MIM came into being following Hurricane Sandy when Trinity joined with other local congregations to participate in relief work in Staten Island and Atlantic City in 2013/2014. Since then, other mission work has been done in Morgantown, WV (2015-2018) in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity, Hurricane Florence relief in North Carolina 2019 and local projects with Servants Inc. During the Covid-19 Pandemic Trinity initiated a project to feed local neighbors with free pizza and hot dogs with projects known as “Holy Hot Dogs” and “Pizza in the Parking Lot”.

MIM is currently working with a consortium of churches in the area to sponsor a refugee family from Afghanistan, and a new project currently being organized with Servants Inc. in conjunction with a local school to assist a young man and his minor brother and sister in obtaining housing.

There is no shortage of projects. The more you give of yourself, the more you receive in return!
